Happy 30th
Birthday, Idaho Council on Developmental Disabilities!
This year, the Idaho Council on Developmental Disabilities celebrates 30 year
s of advocating
on behalf of Idahoans with developmental disabilities and their families.
During the 1978 session, the Idaho Legislature passed the Idaho Developmental
Disabilities Council Act. Since then, the Council has had over 150 members who have
worked together to improve the services and supports that are available to
people with developmental disabilities in Idaho. Plans for celebrating this
birthday are underway. If you have served on or worked for the Council or have
been involved in
a Council project, we would love to hear from you.
